BEGIN
This is an intentional practice. Sessions are unhurried, diagnostically thorough, and built around you, not a protocol. Whether you're arriving for the first time or returning for continued care, every appointment begins with the same question: what does your body need right now?
Working Together
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your first session runs approximately 75 minutes. We'll begin with a thorough intake conversation, investigating not just your presenting concern but your full health history, your patterns, your rhythms, and what's brought you here. This is where Chinese medicine does something most modern medicine doesn't make time for: it listens to the whole picture.
From there I'll take your pulses, observe your tongue, and begin forming a pattern diagnosis, the TCM framework that shapes every treatment decision. Your first acupuncture treatment follows in the same session.
You'll likely leave feeling noticeably different. Lighter, slower, quieter. Some people feel immediate relief. Others notice shifts in the days that follow. Both are normal.
Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes. Treatment plans vary. Some people come weekly during an acute phase, others monthly for maintenance and seasonal support. I'll share what I recommend after your first visit.

New patients are welcome. If you're not sure where to start, a free 20-minute consultation is a good first step for a chance to share what's been going on and get a sense of whether working together feels right.
