Dayna Caccia MSAcCHM, L.Ac.
Dayna Caccia is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist practicing in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Before medicine, she spent years as a landscape architect learning that land and body follow the same logic: that living systems have their own intelligence, their own timing, and their own way of signaling when something is out of accord.
The body doesn't need to be fixed. It needs to be remembered.
She works with a small, intentional clientele, offering the kind of unhurried, diagnostically thorough attention that most modern medicine no longer makes room for.
“I started seeing Dayna while I was pregnant, and she made such a difference in my experience. Her treatments helped ease so many of the aches and pains that come with pregnancy, and as I got closer to my due date, she supported my body naturally to prepare for labor. I truly believe her sessions played a huge role in helping me feel more comfortable and in encouraging my labor to start. I'm so grateful I found her.”

THE ETHOS
Medicine rooted in nature's intelligence
Chinese medicine was built on a simple observation: that the body and the natural world move by the same principles. That the patterns governing seasons, rivers, and cycles of light are alive in every system within us.
In the modern world, that connection has been severed. We have learned to override our rhythms, ignore our signals, and call the exhaustion that follows a personal failure rather than a collective one.
Knowing when the body needs stillness and when it's time to bloom…this is not poetic. It is the oldest clinical framework we have.
Lume exists to restore that thread. Not as a wellness trend but as a return to the body's own intelligence, to the cycles it was made to live within, to the kind of care that actually listens.
“I first came to Dayna for shoulder and back pain. We worked through it quickly but what surprised me was what came after. I had a lot of pressure and trauma held in my body that I didn't fully recognize until it started to move. She truly changed my life in a way I didn't think was possible. I still see her regularly for digestive, stress, and menstrual support.”

AREAS OF CARE
Where the work focuses
Most people who find their way here aren't looking for a diagnosis. They already know something is off. They're looking for someone who will actually listen and a framework sophisticated enough to hear what the body is trying to say.
-
Your cycle is not an inconvenience to be managed. It is a vital sign and one of the clearest windows into the overall health of your system. Irregular cycles, painful periods, PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD, perimenopause are not conditions to suppress. They are signals asking to be understood.
-
Whether you are preparing your body for conception, navigating IVF, or recovering from loss, this work meets you where you are. Acupuncture and herbal medicine support the full terrain: hormonal, constitutional, emotional. Fertility is not just a physiological event. It is a whole-body one.
-
Burnout is not a productivity problem. It is what happens when a living system has been asked to override its own signals for too long. This is terrain Dayna knows well. This work is about restoration, not just of energy, but of the body's capacity to rest, recover, and feel safe again.
-
Chinese medicine has always understood that emotional and physical health are not separate systems. Anxiety, grief, overwhelm, and disconnection leave traces in the body. Treatment works with both, because you cannot treat one without the other.
-
The body was made to move with the seasons. To slow in winter, to surge in spring, to release in autumn. When we lose that rhythm, we feel it. This work helps restore the relationship between your body and the natural cycles it was always meant to live within.
“I’ve been working with Dayna for over 2 years now and i could not recommend her enough for all your acupuncture and herb needs. She is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, kind and down to earth. I have debilitating migraines and she has helped me greatly- she even turned me on to using herbs to treat my pain which has been such an incredible resource.”
